Girl Reading by Katie Ward

I'm currently reading Girl Reading by Katie Ward. At first, I couldn't really get into it; I think it was the nature of the first story so I've skipped ahead to the second story in it and it's definitely much more engaging. Perhaps because it involves language and the capacity to speak (one of the characters is deaf and uses sign language to communicate). So far, it's an enjoyable read.

Only problem is that I'm reading it on Kindle. I like the Kindle, it's much more compact than a book but I've come to treat it like I do my iPod. You know that way where you start a song and rarely ever listen to it all the way through? I don't think I've finished any book apart from one or two for class and On Chesil Beach by Ian McKewan. There's nothing to beat a good old fashioned book (especially for the front covers...)
